ART FOR IMPACT

@dosomethingcoolorg has partnered with @autobahncarwash to launch “Art for Impact”, a transformative initiative rooted in resilience, perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of long-term goals. This project celebrates the indomitable human spirit by sharing a story of an individual who has overcome significant challenges, embodying grit—the ability to maintain a positive attitude despite major setbacks and extreme adversity.

Inspired by Nick “The Manimal” Custer’s story,  the project seeks to raise awareness for the life-saving importance of seatbelt safety while directly raising funds, 100% of which will go to supporting individuals on their own journeys to recovery, including Nick.

Anchored by a vibrant mural created by California based artist Chris @heihn merging impactful messaging with artistic expression, this project underscores the value of safety, resilience, and community support, all while celebrating the power of grit in overcoming life’s greatest challenges. Together, we’re turning adversity into art and making a lasting difference

For Nick, it’s not the size of the fall that defines you—it’s how you pick yourself back up. Defying all odds, he turned the grim prediction of 3 hours to live into a story of triumph. After waking from a five-week coma, Nick faced countless challenges, from relearning how to walk and talk to rebuilding his life. Through sheer determination and grit, he proved the experts wrong and reclaimed his independence, inspiring everyone around him with his mantra: “Keep On, Keeping On.”
